CasaNova 2009

Together with architect G. Heerink we developed an entry for the CasaNova 2009 competition, organized by the "Stadsgewest Haaglanden".

The focus points of the entry were:

• Create a strong identity of the area by focussing on the key elements: Sport and Green City Buffer,
• Do not create a City Park, because the are is not located in the city, make a transition from city landscape to greenhouse landscape instead,
• Create better public transport lines, with a central junction at the planning area where commercial activities can be developed,
• Create a building concept which has a focus on sport and wellness; focus on shared spaces with sporting facilities.
